Battlefield Innovations

Xcelos works with innovators in combat zones in Ukraine, in conjunction with experts in the US and Europe, to develop necessities that that can be produced on the ground in Ukraine.  Here are a few of our current projects:

Compression Bandages. Xcelos helped develop and finance a compression bandage critical for battlefield trauma care that can be produced efficiently and economically from materials sourced in Ukraine.  (Go to Settings and turn on the auto-generated subtitles for English subtitles.)

Water Purification. Xcelos is working with local Ukrianian authorities and NGOs as well as US and European experts to help alleviate the water crisis in Ukrainian combat zones.  This video captures some of the issues in the southern areas of Ukraine around Mykolaiv.

SME Business Assistance

Ukraine has suffered more than $100 billion in physical and infrastructure damages since the beginning of the Russian invasion.  Ukraine’s economic and business damages are multiple factors of that–estimated as high as $500 billion–with small and medium-sized businesses bearing the brunt of the losses.
